Flexible Polyurethane.
An open-cell polyurethane system used across applications requiring cushioning, comfort, flexibility and resilience.
Definition
What IsFlexible Polyurethane?
Flexible polyurethane foam is formulated so that the cells remain largely open and interconnected. Air moves through the structure, which allows the foam to compress under load and then return towards its original shape.
That behaviour is the reason flexible foams are so widely used in seating, bedding and interior components. Systems can be formulated to feel softer or firmer and to recover more quickly or more slowly, depending on what the finished product is expected to do.
